The Races
KPMG Bermuda Invitational Mile
An invitation only event: where the top 20 fastest finishers at a series of trial events are invited to participate. This event will see the fastest local and international milers compete for prizes. Note: There will be a mile race (wave start) for Bermuda Triangle Challenge participants. You do not have to qualify for the mile. You will automatically be entered into the mile race as part of the Bermuda Triangle Challenge.
Bermuda International 10K This standard bearer of a race will bring the best out of you. Runners will challenge themselves too the finish line inside the impressive National Sports Centre.
Bermuda International Half Marathon The 2011 Bermuda Half Marathon will be run on Sunday January 16th starting at 8:00am. The 13.1 course will start and finish on Front Street in the capitol city of Hamilton. Runners will enjoy many breathtaking vistas of both the north and south coasts, combining views of the changing shades of blue and green of the ocean with the bright colourful pastel hues of the buildings. Mixed into this are areas of lush greenery and fascinating architecture.
Bermuda International Marathon The 2011 Bermuda Marathon will be run on Sunday January 16th starting at 8:00am. The marathon and half marathon will start at the same time with marathon runner’s completing two laps of the 13.1mile half marathon course. Course support ceases at 2:00pm Finish line closes at 3:00pm
Bermuda Triangle Challenge Can you survive the Bermuda Triangle Challenge? Now in its 3rd year, the Bermuda Triangle Challenge is an opportunity to earn big time bragging rights by running ‘3 races in 3 days’-the KPMG Bermuda Invitational Mile on Friday night, the Bermuda International 10k on Saturday and either the Bermuda International Marathon or Half Marathon on Sunday. All participants will receive finishers medallions is each race as well as a special Bermuda Triangle Challenge medallion and t-shirt to commemorate the achievement.
